Project Funding Resources
There are a number of state and federal programs the
communites use to help fund a variety of projects. Some of the primary
sources that we use at GHRPC are listed below. Please contact the
GHRPC office for more information.
- Missouri
Department of Economic Development - Community Development Block
Grant (CDBG)
CDBG funds are used to complete many community
projects, including water and sewer infrastructure, bridges, streets,
drainage, structure demolition, community facilities, and ADA
improvements. The application process for CDBG is highly competitive,
with varying deadlines throughout the calendar year. View

- United
States Department of Agriculture - Rural Development
USDA - Rural Development has a wide range of of grant and loan
programs to assist non-urban communities with various development
projects, including community buildings, alert sirens, and economic
development initiatives.
- Missouri
Department of Natural Resources (DNR)
DNR uses many different loan and grant programs
to assist communities with various projects, particularly related
to water, wastewater, and storm water management.
- Missouri
Office of Homeland Security - Region H
Homeland Security funds are available on an
annual basis to assist local first responders in purchasing the
equipment and related services necessary to safeguard the lives
of Missouri's citizens.
