Grantee Status Projected CDBG Close-Out

Grundy County 10 of 14 bridges have been completed 2004
2000-PF-17 All of the CDBG funds have been requested.
Bridge The County has received SHPO clearance on
two more Bridges in Liberty Township.

Sullivan County Sullivan County has only $9,055.89 left to 2004
Bridge Replacement spend on construction materials. The county
2001-PF-21 still must complete all 10 bridges to
completely Close-out the project.

Caldwell County Construction has continued with only May 2004
J.D. Steel $43,080.05 of CDBG funding to spend.
2002-ED-03 The spur has been completed but the project
Rail Spur has not been Closed-out yet.

Marceline The City of Marceline is constructing new 2004
EDA Water Tower transmission lines and a new water storage
tower in the Industrial Park. Construction
has continued and the first EDA funds have
been requested.

Purdin Sewer Close-out documents have been submitted to April, 2004
200-PF-150 Sanitary Sewer System CDBG as well as Purdin
holding a Close-out Public Hearing on March
2, 2004.

Utica Sewer All of the documents have been sent to CDBG March 11, 2004
2000-PF-47 Sanitary Sewer System for Close-out.

Gallatin Sewer New project estimates have been calculated. 2004
97-PF-09 The city hopes to bid the project during
April.

Norborne Construction has been completed. The painting 2004
2001-PF-41 remains. Close-out will begin in April.
Water Tower

Caldwell County Construction is almost complete. Pressure tests
PWSD #3 are taking place and the close-out process will
95-PF-747 begin in January. Only $1,500.00 left of 2004
New Water District CDBG funds

Ludlow Sewer Final plans are almost completed. The city 2004
2002-PF-51 has established their banking accounts and are
waiting for the USDA RD Loan Closing.
Community Development Projects

Braymer Water The project was funded around 8/15/03. The 2004
Improvement engineers are currently completing the final
2003-PF-19 Water plans. Braymer is waiting for their
loan closing.

Cainsville Water All USDA. GHRPC completed the 2004
Water environmental and forwarded the document
to USDA-RD.

Chariton-Linn #3 Final plans have been submitted to MoDNR for 2004
Water Project Water System Improvements approval. Linn County
has established their 2003-PF-04 banking
accounts and are ready to begin the bidding
process.

Green City The City was funded on 10/17/03. We wrote the 2004
Water Project Water application that provided the city with
State and Federal Funding. The city subsequently
chose another person to administrate the grant.

Bucklin Bucklin was funded on 9/15/03. They selected
Water Tower another administrator in November.

Keytesville CDBG funded the project in June of 2003 2004
Water Plant Water Treatment Plan. The contractor has
continued to work on the foundation of the
new water tank.

Milan Well barrier in Locust Creek for raw water 2004-2005
Water Supply Water Project supply. The City was funded
with a Emergency USDA RD USDA RD ECWAG grant.
A Pre-Construction Conference was held on 3/5/04.

Wheeling Construction of a new Fire Station. The project 2004
Fire Station Public Facilities was awarded on 6/24/03 by CDBG.
Bids were taken on opened on January 21, 2004.
Demolition of the old school is almost completed.

Livingston Co. The water district has received the USDA RD 2004
PWSD #4 Water funding. The project is moving forward.

Community Development Projects:Housing 3/15/04

Grantee Status Projected CDBG Close-Out

Trenton Trenton has continued to bid-out demo’s and 2004
2002-ND-12 should finish the program in early 2004.
Demolition

Chula Chula has fulfilled all of their required rehab’s 2004
2002-ND-06 and still have CDBG funds left. Chula will be
Rehabilitation working on closing the project.

Brookfield There are 44 projected demolitions. Brookfield 2004
2002-ND-03 has bid out 10 of the demo’s and at least 4 have
Demolition been completed. Bids will be opened on
3/25/04 for 9 more demolitions.

Mercer Mercer has begun rehabilitating homes. Mercer 2004
2002-ND-10 opened bids on another 3 housing rehabilitations
Rehabilitation on 3/11/04.

Spickard Close-out documentation has been sent to April 2004
2000-ND-14 CDBG. The City still has CDBG funds left and
Demolition would like to perform 1 more demo. Bids
were taken on December 2, 2003 for the last
demolition.

Unionville Scope of project includes the demolition of 2004
2002-ND-12 13 residential and 1 commercial property.
Demolition The city has completed all 13 residential
demo’s and the 1 commercial demo. The city
still has some CDBG money to spend so more
demo’s are being processed.

Carrollton Carrollton was funded by CDBG on 8/11/03. Fall 2004
Demolition Staff has assisted the community with the state
requirements and the project is progressing.

Chillicothe Chillicothe was funded by CDBG on 8/11/03 for 2005
Housing Rehab the rehabilitation of 27 homes south of the depot.

Chillicothe Staff has sent all Close-out forms to CDBG. March, 2004
2001-ED-09 The project should be officially Closed-out in
Plastics Company March 2004

Chillicothe Upgrade of Business 36 in close-out process. May, 2004
2001-ED-08 We are waiting for documentation from the
Gear for Sports company to Close-out.

Grundy County All funds have been drawn down for the project. 2004
Roy Enterprises The project will be closed-out after the owner
2002-MO-03 completes the appropriate items required by
CDBG.

Livingston County Program marketing and customer consultation 2004
2001-ME-01 is ongoing. One loan has been made at this
Microenterprise Loan time and several possible loans are being
processed.

Trenton Construct new wastewater lines around
Wastewater Con-Agra in Trenton. The project will be a
combination of 2004 EDA, USDA and
CDBG funds.

Bethany Construction of 2 miles of road and
Economic infrastructure. Possible new business moving
Development possibly to Bethany.
