PLAZA HOTEL The former Plaza Hotel at Trenton received the benefit of an approval for a comprehensive rehabilitation project. The building will be converted to 23 senior citizen apartments in year 2000. The North Missouri Rural Housing Coalition is the active general partner in the historic preservation and rehabilitation of the Plaza Building. The project will also benefit the Trenton downtown business district by renovating a vacant building and helping to anchor the southeast side of the downtown area.
CITY OF HAMILTON North Missouri Rural Housing Coalition in partnership with the City of Hamilton have developed and constructed a three bedroom home on a lot donated by the city, which includes utility hook ups. This home will be made available at a reduced price for a low/moderate income buyer. Future homes of this type may be built in Hamilton if an interest is indicated.
