About the Green Hills Regional Planning Commission
The Green Hills Regional Planning
Commission is one of nineteen sister offices operating as part of
the Missouri Association of Councils of Government (MACOG) - An
organization of sub-state planning and development agencies serving
the State of Missouri. The Commission is organized as a voluntary
association of local governments whose duly elected board meets
monthly, and has retained a staff of professionals who work on projects
intended to foster improved quality of life throughout all communities
within the 11 county "Green Hills" region. Some of the
ways the Commission serves it's communities are with grant writing
and technical assistance, mapping services, planning and zoning,
economic development activities, research, business finance, and
workforce development.
